The NPFL, More Professional Than Most Leagues In Africa, says Benin-Based Nigerian Footballer
Nigerian Footballer based in Benin republic, Chibuna Eze, has declared his readiness To play for the senior national team of Nigeria (The Super Eagles).
He said this in an online interview with Newsmen conducted recently,
The young man who is an indigine of Abia State said his late father motivated and urged him to play football when he was at a tender age and his older brother also supported his idea of playing football,
But mother was never in support of idea of playing football, she wanted him to a regular church attendant.
When asked to compare the Nigerian league with the Beninous league he said ” The NPFL is a more professional league
Where things are handled more professionally than in most of our neighboring countries”
When asked of he nurses an ambition to play for the Super Eagles he said. “I am very hopeful that someday I will be invited to the national team, it is the ambition of every player to represent his country in international Football matches and mine is not an exception”.
The former ABS FC of Ilorin player says he is a fan of Chelsea FC and Enyimba FC, and former Chelsea captain John Terry is his role model.
