The Federal Government has released guidelines for the safe reopening of schools after COVID-19 pandemic closures.
The 52-paged communique was signed by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, and Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.
Part of the recommendation includes implementation of safe distancing measures in schools and other learning facilities. Learners should be supported to stay two metres apart.
It advised that schools could also adopt staggered attendance, outdoor learning, and alternate attendance among others.
